Job summary

Tates Motor Group is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team. You’ll service, maintain, diagnose and repair customer vehicles and work to manufacturer standards while recording work accurately.

We value a positive attitude and pride in workmanship; franchised dealership experience is helpful but not essential. This full-time, on-site role offers opportunities within a busy aftersales department and a progressive team.

Qualifications

• Qualified technician with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Franchised dealership experience would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
• Experience in servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining customer vehicles
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out vehicle health checks
• Completing work to manufacturer and dealership standards
• Accurately recording work completed
• Working closely with the wider service and workshop team
