Job summary

Forge Recruitment Ltd is seeking a seasoned Vehicle Technician for a busy workshop in the East Midlands. The role requires extensive hands-on experience with diagnostics, fault finding, and engine removal/refitting on petrol and diesel vehicles.

Applicants should have their own tools, a full UK driving licence, and demonstrate reliability and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid training is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Confident carrying out diagnostics and fault finding.
• Experience in engine removal and refitting.
• Experience working on both petrol and diesel vehicles.
• Hybrid trained, if possible.
• Have their own tools.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well within a busy workshop.
