Senior Vehicle Technician required in Bath

• Starting salary up to £33,000 per annum plus a generous performance-related bonus scheme (up to £46,000 annual earning potential).
• 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (paid as overtime at time and a half).

Our client, a large franchise-approved car dealership in the Bath region, is currently looking to hire a fully qualified Senior Vehicle Technician for their Service Department.

Reporting to the Service Manager and working alongside a friendly workshop team, your main duties will include fault diagnosis, servicing, and repair as instructed, ensuring work meets manufacturer and client standards. You will need to accurately diagnose faults and report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance. Adherence to quality procedures laid down by our client and the manufacturer is essential.

To be eligible, you must be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with ideally at least one to two years of technical experience post-qualification at a franchise-approved dealership. A valid driving license with minimal points, a committed attitude, and good teamwork skills are required. You must produce high-quality work in a stringent dealer environment and be motivated to work towards team targets.
