Job summary
Gerrell & Hard Ltd. is seeking a Senior Vehicle Engineer to lead hands-on automotive projects, working on tuning, diagnostics and performance technology across modern vehicle platforms.
You will collaborate with software and calibration specialists, perform testing, data logging, and technical analysis to turn engineering challenges into practical solutions. This role offers a mix of on-site work with the possibility of remote work one day per week after probation.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive engineering, vehicle development or diagnostics.
- Hands-on ECU tuning, calibration or flashing.
- Experience with vehicle data logging and analysis.
- Knowledge of CAN bus and automotive communications.
- Electrical/electronic vehicle systems understanding.
- Background in performance or motorsport engineering is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and understand vehicle and ECU behaviour.
- Support vehicle calibration, tuning and diagnostic development.
- Carry out vehicle testing, data logging and technical analysis.
- Develop and validate solutions across a range of modern vehicle platforms.
- Diagnose complex vehicle, electrical and communications issues.
- Contribute technical expertise to engineering projects and product development.
- Help develop processes, tools and approaches that improve engineering efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to less-experienced engineers where required.
