Job summary
Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Lead VDC Coordinator to drive digital construction using BIM. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, implement BIM strategies, and ensure model integration across projects.
With 7–12+ years in construction/design and 3–5 years in BIM leadership, you will mentor coordinators, manage QA, and push for innovative digital delivery while aligning with project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture.
- 7–12+ years in construction/design.
- 3–5 years in BIM/VDC leadership roles.
- Proven experience delivering P&R Projects.
- BIM/VDC certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of VDC/BIM strategies across projects.
- Develop and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
- Set project standards for modelling, coordination, and digital delivery.
- Mentor and manage junior VDC coordinators and BIM technicians.
- Coordinate federated models and perform clash detection.
- Collaborate with design consultants, contractors and project managers.
- Promote adoption of digital tools and innovations.
