University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for two experienced vascular scientists or sonographers to support a major service renovation. You will perform carotid, temporal, arterial and venous duplex studies, and surveillance scans, while developing teaching, audit and research activities.

The role includes weekend on-call for the 7-day TIA service, with opportunities to expand vascular imaging to other hospitals within the Trust.

Qualificações

• Postgraduate qualification in vascular ultrasound is essential.
• Significant post-graduate experience as a vascular sonographer is required.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in performing a broad range of vascular investigations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a wide range of vascular investigations including carotid and temporal artery scans and limb duplex studies.
• Independently report own scans and review colleagues' scans when required.
• Provide teaching, audit and supervisory support within the team.
• Contribute to service expansion and cross-site vascular imaging activities.
