Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist in Vascular Surgery to deliver expert care and lead service development. The role combines autonomous practice with education, audits and improvements across vascular services at a major London site.

You will work closely with surgical teams to maintain high standards of patient care, develop individualized care plans, and contribute to teaching and mentorship within the team.

Qualifications

Post registration qualification relevant to vascular specialty.
Master’s level study or MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice/related subject.
Recognised teaching or mentorship qualification.
Evidence of teaching, mentorship or practice supervisor.
Evidence of recent professional/management/leadership development.

Responsibilities

Work closely with vascular surgeons, physiotherapist and other healthcare professionals to advise and support in the delivery of specialised care.
Provide specialist nursing care to patients with vascular conditions, including peripheral artery disease, aneurysm and vascular malformation.
Develop and implement individualised care plans for patients with vascular conditions.
