Job summary

Newmark is seeking a Senior Surveyor-level Valuation Surveyor in Manchester. You will lead a broad range of commercial and residential valuations, prepare reports to professional standards, and advise on lending, accounting and portfolio decisions.

The role combines valuation with client management and business development, offering exposure across multiple asset classes and a path to growth within a market-leading platform. Hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• MRICS-qualified with post-qualification valuation experience.
• Strong analytical, report-writing and communication skills.
• Experience across one or more commercial property sectors.
• Ability to manage multiple instructions and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and lead a broad range of commercial and residential property valuations across a variety of asset classes.
• Prepare high-quality valuation reports in accordance with relevant professional standards.
• Provide valuation advice for purposes including secured lending, financial reporting, acquisition and disposal, portfolio valuation and strategic advice.
• Inspect and assess properties, analysing market evidence, rental and investment data and wider market trends.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, investors, developers and other professionals.
• Take responsibility for managing valuation instructions from engagement through to completion.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Newmark's UK and international business.
• Contribute to development of Manchester valuation offering and growth of the North West market.
• Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge.
