Job summary

Advance TRS is hiring a Senior Manager, Valuation and Performance Analytics in London. You will lead external valuation governance, manage tender processes and drive MSCI reporting within Group Finance.

MRICS with 7-10+ years' experience, strong Argus/Power BI skills, and advanced Excel are required. Hybrid work arrangement with a generous package and 20% bonus on top of base salary is offered.

Qualifications

• MRICS (Valuation) with 7-10+ years' experience in a professional commercial organisation.
• Strong Argus Enterprise skills with both traditional and DCF approaches.
• Advanced Excel and BI tools experience (Power BI preferred).
• Strong cash flow modelling and appraisal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the UK real estate market.
• Experience managing regular valuation cycles and portfolio reporting.
• Clear communicator who explains valuation clearly.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of external valuations ensuring RICS Red Book and IFRS Fair Value compliance.
• Manage external valuer appointments including tender processes.
• Own relationship with MSCI and drive accurate total return reporting.
• Provide valuation and performance insights for Board/Committee reporting.
• Analyse portfolio performance, drivers, risks, trends and opportunities.
• Support leasing, development and investment decisions using valuation expertise.
• Champion Argus Enterprise and Power BI; streamline reporting with AI-enabled tools.
• Support JV partners with valuation and reporting requirements.

About the role

A leading UK property landowner and investor is looking for an experienced RICS Registered Valuer to join its Group Finance function as Senior Manager, Valuation and Performance Analytics. The role sits at the heart of how the organisation understands and reports performance across a £13bn+ portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead governance and oversight of external valuations, ensuring full RICS Red Book and IFRS Fair Value compliance
• Manage external valuer appointments, including tender processes
• Own the relationship with MSCI and drive accurate total return reporting
• Produce valuation and performance insight for Board and Committee reporting
• Analyse portfolio performance, identifying key drivers, risks, trends and opportunities
• Use your valuation expertise to support leasing, development and investment decisions
• Champion Argus Enterprise and Power BI, and help streamline and automate reporting, including the responsible use of AI-enabled tools
• Support joint venture partners with their valuation and reporting requirements

About you

• MRICS (Valuation) with 7-10+ years' experience, gained in a professional commercial organisation
• Strong Argus Enterprise skills, confident in both traditional and DCF approaches
• Advanced Excel, with experience of BI tools (Power BI preferred)
• Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to build and interpret cash flow models and appraisals
• In-depth knowledge of the UK real estate market
• Experience of managing regular valuation cycles and portfolio performance reporting
• A clear communicator who can explain valuation information simply
• Comfortable with ambiguity, with a continuous improvement mindset
