Job Description

We are growing our multidisciplinary User-Centred Design consulting team and looking for a Senior UX Designer to join us on our exciting journey and be part of the Hitachi Solutions family. This role will be responsible for enabling the best-in-class digital transformation for our clients in both public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for ensuring the team you work with is enabled to create truly user-centred solutions
2. Facilitating workshops such as design sprints
3. Creating holistic design solutions that address business challenges and meet user needs.
4. Creating user flows, personas, design documentation, prototypes, and other UX deliverables.
5. Defining UX and UI requirements to provide a consistent experience across product, service, or solution touchpoints.
6. Championing the purpose and value of user-centred design internally and externally
7. Creating and developing a design system

Qualifications

As an experienced Senior UX Designer, you have…

• Expertise in translating user needs into design solutions
• Understanding of research techniques and usability evaluation
• Proficiency in prototyping and experience iterating designs based on user feedback
• Strong understanding of User Experience Design and Design Thinking fundamentals, with mentoring or coaching experience
• Experience designing complex products and services in the public and private sectors
• Expertise in Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe Suite, and other design and prototyping tools
• Ability to communicate design intent using various techniques
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary, agile team
