Join us as Senior UX Designer at Barclays

In this role, you will bring to life a new Digital Platform capability by transforming and modernising our digital estate to build a market-leading digital offering with customer experience at its core.

This is a key role where you will adopt a Product Operating Model mindset, understanding customer, business, and technical challenges to support the adoption and integration of new technology across multiple lines of business, alongside coding in Java. Your daily responsibilities include collaborating with business units to realize their needs through solutions, rapid prototyping, and proof of concepts.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java, BDD testing, and Public Cloud (AWS)
• Expertise in Permissions and Profiles, policy as code, and security paradigms like ReBAC, ABAC, RBAC
• Interest in learning authorization and authentication technologies such as Policy as Code, IAM solutions (PingGateway, PingAM, PingIDM, PingDS)
• Ability to challenge norms and build relationships, translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences

The role can be based in Glasgow or Knutsford.
