Job Title: Senior UX/UI Designer

Target Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, Full Time, Job Share option available

Salary Range: £44,000-£55,000

Location: Remote with adhoc travel to our Bournemouth and Eastleigh office

Ageas is on a journey of change, transforming into a leading digital insurer. Our Digital team is expanding, offering exciting opportunities for you to play a pivotal role in our digital transformation.

We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer responsible for delivering user experience and interface design, enhancing Ageas’ online presence. You will design the digital customer experience journey, including brochureware and full online application and transactional capabilities.

Success in this role requires a strong understanding of user experience and human-centered design methodologies to shape the online customer journey and web design functions.

Note: Most work is remote supported by necessary equipment; occasional travel to Bournemouth is required.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensure visitors have a positive experience on the Ageas website.
2. Collaborate with the digital analytics team to optimize the customer journey through multivariate testing.
3. Align functionality, site structure, and information architecture with customer experience best practices.
4. Conduct user testing sessions and research to inform UX strategies.
5. Create concepts, designs, and tests to optimize the customer journey and UI.
6. Ensure the website complies with branding, accuracy, and TCF guidelines.
7. Contribute to web projects like promotional initiatives, product updates, and pricing changes.
8. Work with agile teams to implement and manage changes effectively.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of user-focused UX/UI design experience.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies (desired).
• Proven ability to build, test, and implement websites.
• Ability to analyze user journey analytics.
• Expertise in design tools and user research.
• Strong knowledge of UX principles and interaction design.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting designs and milestones.
• Ability to identify and escalate risks when necessary.
