Job summary

NHS Forth Valley invites applications from highly experienced Advanced Practitioners to join its Urgent Care Walk-in-Centre(s). The post is for practitioners registered locally or nationally and with substantial experience managing urgent undifferentiated presentations in primary care or out-of-hours services.

The post-holder will lead clinical and professional development, supervise Newly Qualified or Trainee Advanced Practitioners, and work within a multi-professional team while maintaining

Qualifications

• Qualified Advanced Practitioner annotated on local and / or national registers.
• Significant Advanced Practice Experience working within Primary Care or GP Out of Hours seeing all age groups including children.
• HEI accredited competency frameworks including clinical examination, non-medical prescribing and clinical decision-making for urgent care presentations including children.
• Highly developed leadership skills.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Evidence of developing others.

Education

Qualified Advanced Practitioner annotated on local and / or national registers

Significant Advanced Practice Experience in Primary Care or GP Out of Hours

HEI accredited competency frameworks (clinical examination, non-medical prescribing, urgent care for children)

Highly developed leadership skills

Excellent communication skills
