Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow to join the Upper GI Surgery team at the Hammersmith site from January 2027. The post is aimed at a senior registrar equivalent with extensive Upper GI experience and is designed to enhance knowledge and skills in this specialty, with ongoing teaching and training opportunities.

The role entails supporting ward work, outpatient clinics and both elective and emergency operations, with on-call duties at middle grade level

Qualifications

• Must hold MBBS or equivalent and GMC registration.
• Working towards CCT (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in Upper GI surgery and clinical activity expected.
• Publications in peer‑reviewed journals advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical ward work, outpatient workload and elective/emergency operating.
• Contribute to on-call rota at middle grade level with pay banding supplement.
• Engage in teaching and professional development within the team.
