Job summary

SCOR UK Company Limited, part of SCOR Business Solutions in London, seeks an experienced Underwriter for North American Binding Authority. You will manage renewals, endorsements and client meetings, contributing to profitable underwriting and market leadership.

The role requires strong technical underwriting, negotiating bespoke wordings, and building relationships with clients and brokers across international markets.

Qualifications

• ACII qualified with underwriting expertise.
• Experience in international underwriting and London market.
• Strong negotiation and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, select and evaluate offers of business from various sources, calculate ratings and negotiate the bespoke wordings of the contracts.
• Generate and originate new offers and promote SCOR by proactive marketing in accordance with strategy and guidelines.
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients and brokers; travel as required.
• Attend broker and client hosted events and respond to enquiries promptly.
• Assist the Global Line Head in research, development and reporting on growth areas.
• Maintain records of quotes, risks accepted and declinatures; verify premium income.
