Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced ultrasound radiographer to join a multidisciplinary team across Eastbourne and partner sites. The role involves comprehensive imaging across obstetric, general, vascular and small parts, with opportunities for CPD and progression.

You will work within a supportive Radiology department that encourages maintaining high standards and patient-centred care, with involvement in audits, QA and teaching of trainees.

Qualifications

• BSc (hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent and HCPC/RCN registration are essential.
• Postgraduate CASE accreditation in Ultrasound (PG Dip/DMU) is required.
• Experience in clinical governance, audits and staff management is expected.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff and trainees in ultrasound practice.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits and educational activities.
• Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations across general, obstetric, gynaecology, vascular and small parts.
• Contribute to weekend/evening rotas and flexible compressed hours when needed.
