Job summary

Day Webster is seeking a Permanent Sonographer to provide high-quality community ultrasound services across Sussex. The role spans a minimum of three days per week with clinic hours and patient scanning schedules.

Travel to local clinics is reimbursed at 45p/mile, and the team offers mentorship from a Consultant Radiologist and strong professional support. Applicants must be HCPC-registered Sonographers (or equivalent) with postgraduate qualification, capable of working independently and

• Ability to work independently and report on your workload.
• Experience or willingness to lead audit, research, or quality improvement initiatives.
• Essential skills: Abdomen (Liver, Gallbladder, Aorta, Pelvis); Urinary Tract (Kidneys, Bladder); Scrotum & Testes.

Responsibilities

• Perform community ultrasound scans across Sussex.
• Generate clear reports on your own workload and findings.
• Travel to local clinics; scanning sessions of 20 mins (single) / 40 mins (double).

Permanent Sonographer – Sussex

We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our friendly and professional team, delivering high-quality community ultrasound services across Sussex.

Role Details:

• Minimum 3 days per week
• Clinic hours: 08:30–13:00 & 14:00–18:30
• 20 mins per single scan, 40 mins per double scan
• Travel to local clinics reimbursed at 45p/mile

Requirements:

• HCPC-registered Sonographer (or equivalent) with postgraduate qualification
