CloudPay United Kingdom Limited is recruiting a Senior UK Payroll Specialist to join our payroll processing team in the United Kingdom. You will manage multiple client payrolls, ensure compliance with NI, tax, and statutory payments, and provide expert support across payroll cycles.

The successful candidate will have strong Excel skills, proven accuracy, and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines while contributing to continuous improvement within a bureau environment.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience processing UK Payroll.
• Experience with NI, Tax and Statutory payments (SMP, SSP).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent time management and administration skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise client payrolls and deliver on deadlines.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process multiple payrolls accurately and on time for clients.
• Provide payroll-related support and back-up coverage for holidays or emergencies.
• Maintain payroll information in CloudPay system and ensure data accuracy.
• Research discrepancies in payroll data and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Prepare reports, tax filings, and correspondence for UK statutory authorities.
• Collaborate with UK payroll team to apply annual updates to the system.
• Assist team members with payroll queries and training; suggest improvements.

What makes this role exciting

CloudPay is looking for a Senior UK Payroll Specialist to join their successful payroll processing team. Customer service skills, the ability to resolve client issues using effective problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and resolve tasks in order to meet multiple deadlines are an essential part of this role. We will also look to develop your experience and skills within a bureau environment.

Main responsibilities

• Process multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time and efficiently
• Provide support to clients on all payroll-related matters to ensure the highest level of service, including acting as a back-up covering for holiday or emergencies
• Maintain payroll information and records on the CloudPay payroll application
• Research discrepancies of payroll information and / or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures
• Prepare reports, tax filings, correspondence and other written materials for compliance with statutory UK authorities
• Work with other UK payroll team members in ensuring the system is configured in line with annual updates
• Assist associate members of the team with payroll queries and training
• Suggest process improvements

Experience needed for this role

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience processing UK Payroll
• Experienced in calculations with NI, Tax and Statutory payments (SMP, SSP etc)
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent time management, administration skills and attention to detail
• Responsible for prioritising client’s payroll and delivering payrolls as required
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
