Job summary

CloudPay in Andover is seeking an Associate UK Payroll & Implementation Specialist. This dual-role offers hands-on experience in UK payroll processing and client onboarding, with full training to support a long-term career in payroll and implementation.

You will work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where accuracy and customer service matter. The role is hybrid, with weekly office presence in Andover, and you’ll help manage multiple payrolls while building compliance and reporting

Qualifications

  • GCSEs minimum, including Maths and English.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and Office applications.
  • Strong time management and administrative skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience across UK payroll processing and implementation.
  • Accurately and efficiently process multiple payrolls and implementations for clients.
  • Provide client support on payroll-related matters and cover holidays as needed.
  • Maintain payroll records within the CloudPay payroll system.
  • Investigate discrepancies and ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures.
  • Prioritise client payroll delivery and deadlines.
  • Prepare reports, tax filings, and other materials for UK authorities.
  • Compile and file reports with relevant UK government agencies.

CloudPay is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate UK Payroll & Implementation Specialist to join our dynamic in-house Implementation team. In this dual-role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in both UK payroll processing and client onboarding—while building a solid foundation for a long-term career in payroll and implementation. With full training provided, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing team. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where accuracy, customer service, and problem-solving are key. This is a hybrid based role, you will be required to come to the office in Andover once a week.

Main responsibilities
  • Gain hands-on experience across all aspects of UK payroll processing and implementation.
  • Accurately and efficiently process multiple payrolls and implementations on behalf of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Provide exceptional support to clients on payroll-related matters, including acting as a backup during holidays or emergencies to maintain service continuity.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and information within the CloudPay payroll system.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll data or documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal procedures.
  • Responsible for prioritising client’s payroll and delivering payrolls as required.
  • Prepare reports, tax filings, correspondence and other written materials for compliance with statutory UK authorities.
  • Compile and file all required reports with relevant UK government agencies, ensuring full compliance.
Experience needed for this role
  • 5 GCSEs minimum, equivalent to A – C including Maths and English
  • Confident working with Microsoft Excel and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent time management and administrative skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
