Job summary

CloudPay is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to support employees and managers across Poland and Hungary within a fast-paced, global HR team. The role offers involvement in HR data, reporting and insights, with opportunities to own regional HR projects and refresh HR materials.

You will work in a hybrid setup, visiting the Andover office once a week, and collaborate closely with senior HR partners across EMEA to drive improvements in the employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience across the employee lifecycle in a multi-country or international environment.
  • Exposure to Polish employment law and HR practices.
  • Experience in employee relations casework with guidance.
  • Familiarity with HR data and reporting using Excel.
  • Experience supporting HR projects or initiatives with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers across Poland & Hungary, advising on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the employee lifecycle including pre-boarding, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist in managing employee-related cases, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Support HR reporting and data analysis to generate insights for decision-making.
  • Contribute to regional HR projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
  • Stay informed of Polish & Hungarian employment legislation and flag changes.
  • Update HR documentation reflecting CloudPay branding and local requirements.

As an Associate HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting employees and managers across Poland and Hungary. You’ll gain hands on experience across the full employee lifecycle, alongside opportunities to work closely with experienced HR Business Partners across EMEA. This role offers involvement in HR data, reporting and insights, allowing you to contribute to decision making and continuous improvement. You’ll be given the opportunity to own and deliver regional HR projects. From service awards and new hire initiatives to engagement activities and refreshed HR materials. You’ll develop strong project and stakeholder management skills while seeing your work have a direct impact on the employee experience. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive and eager to progress their HR career in a fast paced, supportive and global HR team. *This is a hybrid based role, you will be required to come to the office in Andover once a week.

Main responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers across Poland & Hungary, building strong relationships across the region through advising on HR policies and procedures, providing practical, solutions focused advice and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the employee life cycle, including pre-boarding, onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Assist in managing employee-related cases, ensuring consistency, fairness and compliance at all times.
  • Support HR reporting and data analysis, helping to generate insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the delivery of regional HR projects and initiatives (e.g. engagement activities, onboarding programs, service awards) to enhance the employee experience in Central EMEA.
  • Stay informed of current Polish & Hungarian employment legislation, proactively flagging changes and supporting the implementation of any required actions.
  • Update and maintain HR documentation and materials, ensuring content reflects CloudPay’s branding, company policies and local legislative requirements.
Experience needed for this role
  • Experience supporting HR activities across the employee lifecycle, ideally within a multi-country or international environment.
  • Exposure to Polish employment law and HR practices and a keen interest to deepen expertise in this area.
  • Experience in employee relations casework, with the opportunity to grow confidence in managing cases with guidance and support.
  • Familiarity with HR data and reporting, including Excel or HR systems, and an interest in turning data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to HR projects or initiatives, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to adapt to different stakeholders within a fast-paced global environment.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility within HR.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Polish.
  • Additional language skills in Hungarian would be a strong advantage.
