JGA Recruitment is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join a busy payroll team. You will deliver end-to-end UK payrolls, supporting around 500 employees across several companies, with exposure to multiple payrolls and fast-paced payroll operations.

The role offers office-based work with a transition to one day per week working from home after probation, providing a hybrid pattern in a busy, construction/engineering context.

Formación

• Extensive end-to-end UK payroll experience.
• Experience managing multiple payrolls or multi-site payrolls.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory payments.
• Solid pensions and auto-enrolment knowledge.
• Proficient in payroll reconciliations and controls.
• Excellent Excel and payroll systems skills.
• Highly organised with keen attention to detail.
• Construction, engineering or other fast-paced operational background is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Process end-to-end payroll for ~500 employees across multiple companies.
• Manage starters, leavers and contractual changes.
• Process overtime, timesheets, allowances, deductions and statutory payments.
• Administer pensions, auto-enrolment and salary sacrifice schemes.
• Complete payroll validation, reconciliations and National Minimum Wage checks.
• Manage RTI submissions, P45s and payroll records.
• Prepare payroll journals and general ledger reconciliations.
• Handle employee payroll queries and collaborate with HR.
• Provide cover for weekly payroll processing when required.
