Job summary

Rocksteady Studios in London (hybrid) seeks a Senior UI Programmer to design, extend, and optimize UI for flagship AAA games across platforms. You will collaborate with artists and designers to push UI quality and performance while reporting to the Lead UI Programmer.

The role involves working on-site part of the week in Kentish Town with some remote flexibility. Strong C++, graphics, and UE5 experience are essential for shaping immersive player interfaces.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of C++ and graphics principles.
• Experience architecting and maintaining UI systems for complex games.
• Experience shipping at least one AAA title.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 and UMG.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement UI features through all production stages.
• Provide input on new features and iterations with teams.
• Collaborate with artists and designers to deliver polished UI experiences.
• Maintain high engineering standards and perform code reviews.
• Ensure UI meets performance, memory and scalability requirements.
