Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking an experienced Senior UI Architect to lead the design and governance of modern front-end platforms and digital experiences. You will set UI architecture standards, drive technical strategy, and guide engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications.

You will partner with Product, UX, Engineering, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams to establish digital foundations supporting business growth and exceptional customer

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on front-end technologies.
• 5+ years in an architecture or technical leadership role.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale web platforms and digital experiences.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise UI architecture vision, roadmap, and standards.
• Design scalable front-end architectures for customer-facing and internal platforms.
• Establish architecture principles, coding standards, and design patterns; provide governance across programmes.
• Lead decisions on front-end frameworks, state management, API integration, and deployment strategies.
• Drive modernization of web experiences for performance, accessibility, and security.
