Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Technical Team Lead to drive secure pipelines and automation across our SDLC practice in London. You will lead a high-performing, cross-functional team, shape the technical direction, and mentor engineers to deliver scalable software with strong governance.

You will champion DevOps best practices, SRE principles, and compliance in cloud-native environments, partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, secure delivery solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a technical team lead or senior engineer in DevOps, automation, and software development.
  • 5+ years as full stack developer (Java/JVM/TypeScript).
  • Strong DevOps with CI/CD, SLI/SLOs, and error budgets.
  • Extensive automation experience including GitHub Actions, TFE, Ansible.
  • Experience with orchestration tools: TeamCity, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton.
  • Cloud expertise in Kubernetes and/or Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Build secure and reusable CI/CD components to provide governance around our SDLC and ensure compliance.
  • Integrate with existing developer tooling to gather information and automate.
  • Maintain highest security and supply chain standards (NIST, SLSA, etc.).
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements and understand diverse software practices.
  • Develop supporting materials (software, training materials, workshops) to facilitate adoption.
  • Continuously measure success via data-driven approaches, feedback, and improvements.

You will be joining the TDI Engineering Platforms and Practice group as a Technical Team Lead. You will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our secure pipelines and control automation stack (Java/TypeScript/GitHub Actions/Cloud). You will lead a high-performing team of engineers, setting technical direction and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will be pivotal in delivering frictionless, secure, and scalable software delivery solutions used across the entire organization. You will champion best practices in DevOps, automation, and compliance, ensuring our technology stack remains at the forefront of industry standards. Responsibilities
  • Building secure and reusable CICD components to provide provenance and governance around our SDLC practice ensuing high quality compliance
  • Integrate with existing developer tooling to gather information and automate
  • Ensuring the highest standards in security and supply chain integrity in-line with NIST, SLSA and other standards
  • Direct customer engagement to gather requirements and understand the disparate ways teams build software today
  • Developing supporting materials (software, training materials, workshops) to facilitate adoption
  • Continuously measure the success of our solutions via a data driven approach, feedback and continuous improvement

SKILLS

Must have

  • Proven experience as a technical team lead or senior engineer in DevOps, automation, and software development
  • Experienced full stack developer (Java/JVM/TypeScript), likely 5+ years in industry
  • Extensive DevOps experience including CICD, SLI/SLOs, error budgets et al
  • Extensive automation experience including GitHub Actions, TFE, scripting such as Ansible or similar
  • Experience of varied orchestration technologies such as TeamCity, Jenkins and Cloud ready tools like ArgoCD and Tekton a plus
  • Cloud (K8s and/or GCP) expertise

Nice to have

Understanding of security concerns and frameworks such as SLSA and ensuring provenance of the SBOM a plus. Proven communication and influencing skills, experience coaching and mentoring a plus
