Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced TAR Manager to lead major turnaround and shutdown activities at a large process facility in the United Kingdom. You will oversee safety, cost, quality and schedule, directing multi-disciplinary teams and contractors through planning, execution and completion.

The role demands Chartered Engineer status or substantial hands-on leadership in heavy industry, with proven ability to manage budgets and drive results in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or significant practical experience delivering maintenance, turnaround and project programmes within heavy industry.
• Demonstrable leadership experience managing large, multi-disciplined teams in complex operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of contractor management, subcontract delivery and engineering service providers.
• Proven ability to make sound decisions, manage risk and drive successful outcomes under demanding conditions.
• Experience controlling budgets, monitoring costs and delivering projects within financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement turnaround strategies that support safety, operational reliability, asset integrity, cost control and delivery objectives.
• Build, coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams comprising internal personnel, specialist contractors and external partners throughout preparation and execution phases.
• Produce comprehensive turnaround schedules that incorporate maintenance activities, plant shutdown and restart programmes, and associated project work.
• Manage contractor performance, resources, budgets and programme delivery to ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Work closely with operational and site leadership teams to maintain alignment between turnaround activities and wider business priorities.
