United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Trust & Safety to own verification, reviews flow, and moderation systems. You will work with vetting and reviews teams to ensure trust and scale, leading incident responses and driving reliability.

The role requires strong TypeScript, Fastify/Node.js, Next.js, Datadog, SQL, and GCP (Pub/Sub/DLQs) knowledge, with a focus on fast, secure, and scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong TypeScript and full-stack capability with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience with Fastify/Node.js and HTTP fundamentals.
• Event-driven design and idempotent/outbox patterns for reliability.
• Frontend exposure with Next.js and service integration.
• Familiarity with Datadog, SQL diagnostics, and GCP basics (Pub/Sub, DLQs).
• Experience leading production incidents with clear communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve verification, reviews flow, and content moderation systems.
• Lead incident response by tracing distributed logs and diagnosing root causes.
• Design reliable event-driven workflows with idempotent and retryable patterns.
• Collaborate with vetting and reviews teams to align trust with daily operations.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and secure data handling across services.
