Job summary

Coventry Building Society seeks a Senior Treasury Analyst to deliver financial analysis, modelling and reporting to support Treasury activities and balance sheet management. You will produce insightful analysis for strategic decision-making and monitor risks, while collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Working in a hybrid setup with at least one day per week in Coventry or Manchester, the role requires advanced Excel, data analysis, and knowledge of Treasury risk frameworks to drive robust

Qualifications

• Good experience in Market Risk and/or Balance Sheet Risk Management.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of Treasury activities, balance sheet management and prudential risk frameworks.
• Ability to analyse data, identify risks and opportunities, and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis, modelling and reporting in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, modelling and reporting to support Treasury activities.
• Monitor liquidity, capital and prudential risks within risk appetites.
• Support governance and control frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to assess market/economic developments and provide recommendations.
