Job description

Oliver James is currently working with an insurance client in London to recruit a Senior Treasury Analyst on a permanent basis. To be considered, candidates must have the full right to work in the UK, treasury experience (specifically cash management flow), and syndicate experience.

Further Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury, finance, or cash management.
2. Prior experience with payment execution and cash flow forecasting.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
4. Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Detail-oriented with proven organizational skills.
7. Ability to work independently and within a global team.
8. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash positioning to ensure optimal cash levels across European entities.
• Monitor and forecast daily cash requirements to maintain liquidity and maximize excess cash utilization.
• Execute inter-company fund transfers and manage cash pooling structures.
• Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze variances between actual and forecasted cash flows, providing actionable insights.
• Prepare regular cash flow reports for senior management.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of cash positions and forecast accuracy.
• Assist in preparing treasury-related reports for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather data necessary for accurate forecasting.
