Job summary

TED Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Transport Planner for a busy Oxfordshire office. The role involves site appraisals, feasibility studies, pre-application advice, and comprehensive transport assessments and statements.

You will work on travel plans and traffic modelling, with potential highway design tasks and Road Safety Audits. You should hold a degree and be likely Chartered as a Transport Planner, with experience in using junction modelling programmes and leading junior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field is essential.
• Likely to be Chartered as a Transport Planner.
• Experience in preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
• Experience with industry standard junction modelling programmes.
• Some experience in highway design and Road Safety Audits is a plus.
• Strong communication skills required to deal with clients and supervise junior staff.
