Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join the Oxfordshire office. You will conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and pre-application advice, along with transport assessments, statements, travel plans and traffic modelling.

You may also undertake junction capacity assessments and related analyses as part of a busy multidisciplinary team. The role requires a degree and likely Chartered status, with experience in TA/TS preparation and junction modelling.

Qualifications

• Degree is required.
• Chartered status as Transport Planner is likely.
• Experience in preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
• Experience using industry standard junction modelling programmes.
• Experience in highway design and Road Safety Audits is a plus.
• Excellent communication with clients is essential.
• Ability to supervise and mentor less experienced Transport Planners.

THE ROLE

My client seeks a SENIOR TRANSPORT PLANNER to join their busy team in their Oxfordshire office.

You will be involved with doing site appraisals, feasibility studies, pre:application advice, transport assessments, transport statements, travel plans, traffice modelling, junction capacity assessments and more.

The Company

My client is a long established multi:discipline firm of engineering consultants with several UK offices.

THE CANDIDATE

• You will need to have an appropriate Degree.
• You are likely to be fully Chartered as a Transport Planner.
• You need experience of doing the preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
• Experience Required In Using Industry Standard Junction Modelling Programmes.
• You may also have some experience of highway design and Road Safety Audits.
• Good communication skills are essential to deal directly with clients.
• You should be able to supervise and mentor less experienced Transport Planners.

Salary is negotiable but likely to be in the range of GBP40000 to GBP60000 per annum plus there is a good range of benefits including pension contribution, cycle to work scheme, free on:site parking and much more.
