Job summary

TED Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Transport Planner to join our Oxfordshire office. You will be involved in site appraisals, feasibility studies, pre-application advice and transport assessments to support project delivery.

The role requires a degree and experience with Transport Assessments/Statements, along with knowledge of junction modelling. Salary is negotiable, with a strong benefits package including pension and cycle-to-work schemes.

Qualifications

THE ROLE

My client seeks a TRANSPORT PLANNER to join their busy team in their Oxfordshire office.

You will be involved with doing site appraisals, feasibility studies, pre-application advice, transport assessments, transport statements, travel plans, traffice modelling, junction capacity assessments and more.

THE COMPANY

My client is a long established multi-discipline firm of engineering consultants with several UK offices.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have an appropriate Degree.

You may be Chartered as a Transport Planner or working towards chartered status.

You need experience of doing the preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.

Some experience required in using industry standard junction modelling programmes.

You may also have some experience of highway design and Road Safety Audits.

Good communication skills are essential to deal directly with clients.

Salary is very negotiable according to you experience but likely to be between £30000 and £45000.There are also a good range of company benefits which includes pension contribution, cycle to work scheme, social events, free on-site parking and more.
