Job summary

Sheffield City Council is seeking a Senior Transport Planner (Projects) to lead the delivery of transport and infrastructure schemes across Sheffield. You will manage projects from concept through to delivery, coordinating with colleagues, consultants, contractors and regional partners to secure successful outcomes.

We value experience in transport planning, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage budgets and multiple priorities.

Qualifications

Experience delivering transport or infrastructure projects.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience managing budgets, business cases or funding bids.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
A relevant professional qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead and support delivery of transport and infrastructure projects across Sheffield.
Manage projects from concept through to delivery with colleagues, consultants, contractors and regional partners.
Collaborate with internal teams, external partners and contractors to ensure successful outcomes.
