Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to lead a diverse portfolio of transport planning projects. You will work with clients, local authorities, developers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality planning advice from feasibility through to implementation.

The role requires strong technical capability, commercial awareness and the ability to mentor junior colleagues while contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or related discipline.
• Significant experience in transport planning within consultancy or development-led environments.
• Proven track record preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and the London planning environment.
• Experience engaging with London boroughs, TfL and highway authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of TA, TS, Travel Plans and related reports.
• Develop transport strategies and access proposals for diverse developments.
• Undertake transport modelling, traffic impact analyses and capacity assessments.
• Assess proposals against NPPF, London Plan and local policies; advise on sustainable transport.
• Mentor junior planners and support business development and client relationships.
