Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is seeking a Transport Planner to join the Harworth site. You will oversee day-to-day transport planning, plan the fleet workload and resolve queries from customers, subcontractors and warehouses, ensuring high performance and timely communications.

Ideally you will have experience in a busy transport department and be adept at problem solving and data analysis, with a flexible approach to peak periods and a collaborative mindset to work with a small team.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy transport operations and planning daily workload.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transport planning for the operation.
• Plan daily workload for the fleet, on and off site.
• Handle queries from customers, sub-contractors and warehouses via phone, fax or email.
• Coordinate with Traffic and Administration teams to maintain high performance.
