Access Talent Group are recruiting for a Transport Planning consultancy who work in the UK and overseas, bringing considerable additional value for their clients. The majority of their international projects are delivered with local partners, from whom we both learn and support to build local capacity around transport research and planning techniques. They are currently expanding to bring in a Senior Transport Planner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage projects for local authorities and private sector clients under the guidance of the Project Director.
2. Take a leading role within a defined technical area.
3. Manage time effectively, working with colleagues to deliver to scope and budget.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, helping to secure new work.
5. Proactively contribute to company growth through business development activities.
6. Inspire and develop less-experienced members of staff by freely sharing your knowledge.
7. Travel across the UK and internationally.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Exceptional transport planning technical skills and experience in areas of relevance to ITP.
2. A sound understanding of transport policy and current issues in the UK and/or internationally.
3. Knowledge and skills to extract and analyse complex data sets to derive valuable insights.
4. A growing network of industry contacts and positive client referrals.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 Per Annum
