Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a Senior Operations Clerk to join the Transport department at our Booker Retail Partner Distribution Centre. You will support day-to-day administration, oversee Operations Clerks, and help manage route departures and tachographs.

The role requires data entry and administrative experience, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of CRM and experience with transport processes are desirable.

Qualifications

• Data entry and administrative tasks to support transport operations.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent.
• Proficient with PC-based tasks and standard software.
• Clear communication and ability to analyse verbal and numeric data.

Responsibilities

• Complete accident investigation paperwork.
• Handle CRM queries and resolve tickets within deadlines.
• Manage control of the fuel system.
• Oversee day-to-day transport operations such as route departures.
• Download tachographs and ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate with managers and team members across transport, warehouse and CST.
