Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on engineering experience in transport or heavy machinery.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in our fleet and infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure safety and standards compliance.
• Analyze fault reports to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, safety and procurement to improve performance.
• Contribute to engineering modifications and upgrades.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs and parts usage.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.
