About the Role
This key Senior Leadership position and you will be responsible for shaping and managing the Royal Mail Transformation portfolio ensuring it moves at pace to deliver benefits. In this role you will:
• Lead the alignment of the Transformation plan with the RM Strategy
• Actively manage the Transformation Portfolio to ensure the delivery of the Transformation plan benefits
• Critically assess risks, issues, dependencies and financial performance to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement
• Manage the Strategic Transformation Portfolio including forward plan, key performance indicators (KPIs), proof points and critical timelines/deliverables to drive success
• Work collaboratively with project managers, programme managers and business stakeholders to identify and define key benefits and value metrics for each initiative
• Lead the coordination of the overall P3M workforce supply/demand within the Transformation plan and escalation of any resource gaps to Head of Group Transformation
About You
You should have a proven track record in Transformation portfolio management and planning with significant experience of influencing senior leaders to assure progress and success. You should be able to demonstrate:
• Proven experience in strategic planning and transformation delivery, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role (consultancy background desirable)
• The ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations and effectively communicate
• Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management at the most senior levels including EB level
• The ability to provide strategic challenge, and scrutiny, ensuring alignment with wider policy and strategic initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills plus excellent presentation abilities & strong Excel/PPT skills
• A passion for driving positive change within organisations.

The next stage of the selection process will be a face to face interview in Farringdon consisting of competency based, role specific questions and a Presentation task. We plan to hold interviews on w/c 2nd June.
