Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Transaction Legal Coordinator (Manager) in Strategic Advisory to lead the central legal process function across Debt and Capital Advisory and Transaction Advisory Services. You will coordinate NDAs, release letters and related documents, and act as senior contact for deal teams and external advisers.

You'll oversee an Assistant Manager, manage escalations, liaise with AQRM and internal risk teams, drive standardisation and reporting, and help improve turnaround

Qualifications

• Experience in a legal, paralegal or legal process management role with handling complex/non-standard documentation.
• Qualified legal professional or equivalent in line with the role's demands.
• Experience in a financial services professional services environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters, prioritise and maintain accuracy under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Strategic Advisory legal documentation function across Debt and Capital Advisory and Transaction Advisory Services.
• Oversee the Assistant Manager and act as senior escalation point for complex documentation matters.
• Build and maintain relationships with AQRM, internal risk/legal teams and counterparty advisers.
• Drive process improvement, templates, trackers and SOPs to reduce turnaround time.
• Provide regular reporting on volumes, turnaround times and service quality.
