Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Transaction Legal Coordinator (Manager) within Strategic Advisory. You will lead the central legal process function, coordinating NDAs, release letters and related docs across Debt & Capital Advisory and Transaction Advisory Services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a legal, paralegal or legal process management role handling complex and non-standard documentation.
• Experience in a financial services professional services environment.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent matters and prioritise under time pressure.
• Experience coordinating with internal risk, compliance or legal stakeholders on workflows.
• Strong judgment on when to escalate or route to AQRM or legal.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Strategic Advisory legal documentation function, managing the full lifecycle of NDAs, release letters, hold harmless letters and related documentation across Debt and Capital Advisory and Transaction Advisory Services.
• Act as the senior point of escalation for complex or non-standard documentation matters, applying judgment on mark-ups and counterparty positions.
• Build and maintain relationships with AQRM and internal legal teams to streamline risk and legal approval workflows.
• Drive process improvement and standardisation across the legal documentation function with templates and trackers.
• Provide regular reporting on documentation volumes and turnaround times to the Operations Lead.
