Job summary

Grant Thornton UK seeks a Transaction Legal Coordinator (Manager) to lead the central legal process function across Debt and Capital Advisory and Transaction Advisory Services. You will coordinate NDAs, release letters, and hold harmless letters, working with deal teams, clients, lenders and external advisers.

The role requires strong legal process knowledge, commercial judgment and the ability to engage directly with sophisticated counterparties on live transactions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a legal, paralegal or legal process management role.
• Holds a recognised legal qualification (LLB, GDL, or equivalent), or is a qualified solicitor/barrister.
• Experience in a financial services professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Strategic Advisory legal documentation function, managing the full lifecycle of NDAs, release letters, hold harmless letters and related documentation across Debt and Capital Advisory and Transaction Advisory Services.
• Act as the senior point of escalation for complex or non-standard documentation matters, applying judgement on mark-ups and approvals.
• Build and maintain relationships with AQRM and internal legal teams to streamline risk and legal approval workflows.
• Drive process improvement and standardisation across the legal documentation function.
• Provide regular reporting on documentation volumes, turnaround times and service quality.
