Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Transaction Legal Coordinator (Manager) within Strategic Advisory. You will own the full lifecycle of NDA, release and hold harmless documents across Debt and Capital Advisory and Transaction Advisory Services, coordinating with live deal teams and external counsel.

You will act as a senior escalation point for complex matters, ensuring compliant workflows with AQRM and internal risk teams, and drive process improvements for faster turnaround across engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a legal, paralegal or legal process management role.
• Holds a recognised legal qualification (LLB, GDL, or equivalent) or is a qualified solicitor/barrister.
• Experience in a financial services professional services environment.
• Experience coordinating with internal risk, compliance or legal stakeholders on documentation/workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent matters and maintain accuracy under time pressure.
• Experience advising or coordinating documentation or approval workflows.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Strategic Advisory legal documentation function across NDAs, release letters and hold harmless letters.
• Act as escalation point for complex or non-standard documentation matters.
• Maintain relationships with AQRM and internal legal teams to streamline approvals.
• Drive standardisation of templates, trackers, and procedures across the function.
• Improve turnaround times and scalability of the documentation process.
• Provide regular reporting on volumes, turnaround times and service quality to SLT.
