Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer (United Kingdom, Remote)

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems for various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, suitable for conducting surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, adhering to approved procedures, including technical specifications
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and develop design plans
• Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
• Ensure compliance with design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Perform MOVA validations of complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have prior experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role and bring fresh perspectives to traffic signal design solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Experience with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
