Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems for high-profile infrastructure projects in the UK. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence for site surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings following approved procedures, including technical specifications
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and planning
• Develop complex MOVA designs and datasets
• Apply design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Perform MOVA validations on complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and seek to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on traffic signal solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Experience with LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
