Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, suitable for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Preparing technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, including technical specifications
• Providing technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
• Preparing complex MOVA Designs and Datasets
• Applying design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Undertaking MOVA Validations of complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate has experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and seeks to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing a fresh perspective to Traffic Signal Design solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
