Job Opportunity: Senior Traffic Engineer

A reputable and expanding organization in the Bedfordshire area is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to join their team.

Location

Luton, Bedfordshire

Note: This is a Hybrid position.

Skills and Responsibilities

1. Support the Engineering Delivery Team Leader by being the company's specialist lead on traffic management and safety engineering.
2. Lead the development of the Integrated Transport capital programme, investigate road accidents to identify target areas, and oversee the design, safety audit, and implementation of local safety and traffic management schemes across the Borough.
3. Develop programmes for the Integrated Transport initiatives through assessments, preliminary investigations, feasibility studies, consultations, and briefing for implementation by in-house or external groups/consultants/contractors.
4. Analyze and evaluate data, producing detailed reports on crash and casualty levels.
