Senior Town Planning Manager - Salary up to £80,000

Location: St Albans, England, United Kingdom

Potensis is pleased to partner with a leading residential developer that, due to a sustained increase in land acquisitions, is looking to attract a Senior Town Planning Manager.

The role involves working with the Land and Development team, managing and overseeing planning applications for new developments, and providing planning advice and guidance to support land purchases.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the management of current and future planning applications.
2. Appoint and manage external consultants, including planning consultancies.
3. Provide relevant, up-to-date advice to the land team to facilitate land acquisition decisions.
4. Identify and communicate planning-related risks and opportunities for new and existing projects.

Ideally, candidates will have experience managing large, complex residential planning applications, gained within a developer, planning consultancy, or public sector body. MRTPI qualification and a planning-related degree are preferable.
