You will manage planning applications across a varied portfolio of residential and mixed-use developments, liaising with authorities and consultants to push schemes from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning.
• Knowledge of the UK planning system and development management processes.
• Experience preparing or managing planning applications.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.
• RTPI membership or progress towards chartership is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate planning applications for residential/mixed-use developments.
• Prepare, submit and monitor planning applications and documents.
• Liaise with local planning authorities, consultants and landowners.
• Provide planning advice to support land acquisition and project delivery.
• Monitor changes in planning policy and local development frameworks.
• Coordinate input from external consultants and specialists.
• Attend planning meetings and stakeholder consultations.
