Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Senior Town Planner (MRTPI Chartered) to join their Birmingham team on a hybrid basis, delivering a broad range of strategic and development-led planning projects for a market-leading consultancy.

You will lead on applications and appeals, provide clear planning advice to clients, mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development across the UK.

Qualifications

• MRTPI Chartered status is essential.
• Experience in a consultancy or private sector planning role.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and procedures.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
