Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ planning experience in public or private sector.
• MRTPI chartered status held.
• Proven experience managing planning projects independently.
• Strong understanding of planning legislation, policy, case law and precedents.
• Experience securing and negotiating planning permissions.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify development opportunities.
• Creative, pragmatic and solutions-focused planning approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning projects from inception to determination.
• Prepare, submit and manage complex planning applications.
• Secure and negotiate planning permissions and consents.
• Develop robust, commercially focused planning strategies.
• Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
